Four Unique Play Worlds at Schneider Medical Center

A special project by Toys for Simcha, creating play spaces where children staying in hospital can play, explore and simply be kids.

Four unique play spaces have been created at Schneider Medical Center in Israel for children staying in hospital. The project is an initiative by Toys for Simcha, an organisation dedicated to bringing joy and comfort to children facing illness through play.

Together with Schneider Medical Center and its creative partners, Toys for Simcha has created spaces where children can enjoy moments of imagination, fun and relaxation during their hospital stay.

Four Different Play Worlds
Each play space has its own theme: Kibbutz, Ocean, Music and Jungle. Every space offers a different atmosphere, allowing children to discover and explore new worlds.

From a colourful jungle filled with animals and an adventurous jeep to an underwater world, musical play elements and a kibbutz-themed play space. Each area has been designed as a unique play world.

The Kibbutz play space holds special significance. It was created in memory of Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas and is inspired by the kibbutz where the Bibas family lived.

A Place to Play, Explore and Simply Be a Kid
The four play spaces offer children staying in hospital a place to play, create, explore and connect with others. Through imaginative environments and a variety of play elements, children can temporarily escape their daily hospital routine and simply enjoy being kids.

By making play an integral part of the hospital environment, these spaces bring colour, creativity and moments of happiness into the lives of children and their families.

Creating Special Moments
This project reflects Toys for Simcha's belief that caring for children goes beyond medical treatment. It also means supporting their emotional, social and developmental well-being.

After nearly two years of planning, creativity and collaboration, the project has become a reality thanks to the dedication of Toys for Simcha, Schneider Medical Center, their creative partners and generous donors.

Together, they have created four extraordinary play environments that bring hope, comfort and extra moments of joy to the everyday lives of children staying in hospital.
