A play corner for a positive healthcare experience
At Huisartsenpost Oosterhout, an out-of-hours GP service in the healthcare sector, we created a play environment that keeps children happily engaged while they wait. Especially during busy weekends, the play area provides a welcome distraction for young visitors and creates a calmer waiting area for parents.
Educational play while waiting
The play concept combines several wall games with a play table. The Clock Around wall game, a favourite among many children, helps them learn to tell the time through play. The Day and Night and Ice Age wall games provide additional challenges while stimulating motor skills, concentration and logical thinking.
The Beadstree Table completes the play concept. Its colourful beads help children develop fine motor skills through play, without the need for loose play items in the waiting area. This means staff do not have to worry about the play corner, everything remains safe, and no time is spent cleaning up.
