In the heart of the shopping gallery at Centre Commercial Rivetoile in Strasbourg, IKC created a complete play environment for young visitors. The open play area was fully customised to complement the visual identity of the shopping centre, while allowing parents to easily keep an eye on their children.
An open and versatile play environment
The play area combines different types of play. Children can climb and slide on the wooden play structure, discover various wall games and take a break on the colourful seating elements.
A soft floor in different colours gives the play zone a distinctive look and creates a clear visual boundary within the shopping gallery. This creates a dedicated play world for children without compromising the open character of the space.
Clear and comfortable for both children and parents
Thanks to the clear layout and seating around the play area, parents can stay close while children play independently. Where applicable, fencing and the overall layout provide additional separation between the play area and the main walking routes through the shopping centre.
